PhD studies provide the knowledge, skills and competence needed for independent scientific research practice and the attainment of novel information.

About the programme

That includes training in preparation and implementation of research, processing and interpretation of research findings, presentation and discussion of their research, and publication in international peer-reviewed journals.

Students complete a 180 ECTS independent research thesis, including peer reviewed publications, and might also be required to complete selected courses.

Admissions is rolling, but applicants must have an agreement with a supervisor before submitting an application and research proposal.
